What Data
- Web access logs (from you clicking on links)
- Your chat session
- Conference attendee information (held at Underline.IO)
- Speaker qualifications and identity
How we use your data
Data from this web application, the one you are using right now and the one that hosts this privacy statement, collects data about your click throughs. We process
that data using an on-prem log analysis tool and output the results to an on-prem web site that is only accessible to people in our headquarters or via vpn access
for remote IT professionals.
The data collected during the chat session is stored at OpenAI as a Thread. You can review the OpenAI thread data retention policy. We review thread logs
when there is a reason to review them. Unless you are doing something hurtful, hateful, or in violation of the terms of service as written by OpenAI
and by us, we will not look at your thread logs.
Cookies
We don't use cookies. Look for yourself - open the developer tools and find the Application tab, from there select the Cookies item and under that find the
URL for this site. No cookies. We don't store session data on our servers, so there is no need for a cookie.
Attendee Information
We gather information about your registration, speaker bios, and other details about speakers and attendees that is required for the attendance record. This
data is stored and protected at Underline.IO. We pull that data down to our on-prem systems, protect it with our own know-how (we know how), and only use
it to understand how well the conference is going, and what we will do next year when we host it again. We do not market directly to you unless you opt-in
for the marketing. If you opt-in then Underline.IO may send you email notifications about other conferences that are similar to this one. Nobody will be
sending you marketing email with coupons for random stuff that is not related to this conference and AI conferences in general.
Internet Fraud
You may get email or other marketing touches that seem to be from us, they are not. The Internet is an outlaw space of fraud and malcontents who are
adamant on using AI to further their fraudster lifestyles. When in doubt, delete. There is absolutely nothing life critical or economically catalyzing
about this conference and our marketing reach. We don't sell widgets or services, we simply bring awareness.
Speaker Market Reach
The speakers at this conference may reach out to you, again if you opt-in for marketing. They do not represent Beyond Ordinary Software Solutions
or Underline.IO. Let's hope they are only reaching out to elevate your awareness and further the intellectual engagement beyond the conference. They
might try to sell you their professional services because they are likely going to be professional consultants who make their money by ... consulting.
CCPA - The California Consumer Protection Act and GDPR
You might ask us to delete all of your information. We only know your attendee information because that's the only palce where your data is
actually associated with an identity. There is no identity information on this web application. If you enter identity information during the
chat session, then bad on you. Don't do that. Chat does not need to know who you are unless you are asking to be a speaker. Then we have every
right to know your identity and we will keep records of those interactions. Our speaker engagements are paid, so those records are protected
by employment regulations. The OpenAI thread is ephemeral, it will automatically disappear after a set number of days.
